Six use cases

Where AI earns its keep in baking and confectionery.

Each one maps to a cost you already carry — returns, missed orders, slow audits, volatile ingredient prices — and each one ships grounded in your own data.

Demand forecasting & production planning

SKU-level forecasts by distributor, region and season from your own sales history — so production runs match what the trade will actually lift, returns and short-dated stock fall, and promotions are planned on numbers.

BigQueryVertex AIERP export

WhatsApp order-taking for distributors & retailers

An assistant on your official WhatsApp number that takes orders, answers price, scheme and stock questions in Urdu or English, and books the order into your DMS — with a human on the loop for anything unusual.

WhatsApp Business PlatformDMS / ERP APIGemini

Field-sales co-pilot in your DMS or CRM

Before each outlet visit the rep sees a summary: last orders, gaps versus similar outlets, due payments, suggested order. After the visit, notes and photos are captured by voice. Managers get the exceptions, not the noise.

CRM + AISalesforce · Dynamics · OdooAgents

Food-safety & compliance document intelligence

One cited answer across SFA/PFA rules, PSQCA standards, halal and export requirements, your SOPs and audit history — so QA teams prepare for audits in hours and every answer links to the clause it came from.

Vertex AI SearchDocument AICitations

Procurement & ingredient-price intelligence

Track sugar, wheat, palm oil, cocoa and packaging prices against your purchase history; forecast cost per SKU under price scenarios; flag contracts and renewals before they bite.

BigQueryForecastingDashboards

Consumer care, social & content

AI-assisted handling of consumer complaints and queries, social listening across your brands, and a content pipeline for seasonal campaigns — run by the same team that manages campaigns for consumer brands in Karachi.

Marketing & GrowthMeta & GoogleReporting
For ingredient & equipment suppliers

An AI baking technologist for your customers.

Yeast, improvers, fats, flavours, equipment: your technical data sheets, trial results and troubleshooting guides become an assistant your sales team and bakery customers can ask — "why is my dough collapsing at 32°C?" — with every answer cited to your own documentation. Lead capture and a distributor portal included.

Orders on WhatsApp, branches on the map.

Custom-cake and bulk-order intake on WhatsApp with human approval, a Google Business Profile for every branch that actually ranks in the map pack, Meta campaigns that bring in orders rather than likes, and a monthly report you can read in five minutes.

What you bring

Twelve months of sales or order history, a product master, or the documents your team keeps re-reading — and one person who owns the outcome.

What we deliver

A working system in production-shaped form, an evaluation set with the numbers, runbooks, and a plan for scaling — your data stays in your tenancy.

What it costs

A fixed price quoted after the scoping call, in PKR for Pakistani companies. No licence lock-in; you own the code, prompts and evaluation sets.

Pakistan Baking Summit

We'll be at the Pakistan Baking Summit in December 2026.

Taha Rauf has twice joined the Pakistan Baking Summit panel to speak on how AI can revolutionise Pakistan's confectionery and baking industry. If you're attending, book a 20-minute slot at the summit — bring one problem and we'll bring a demo on your kind of data.

Questions we get asked

Straight answers.

Do we have to move our data to the cloud?

No. Pilots run in a Google Cloud project you own (or ours, for the pilot) and only the data the use case needs is loaded — typically sales history, a product master or a set of documents. Nothing trains public models, and the assistant declines when the sources are silent.

Will it work with our ERP or distribution system?

Yes. We integrate with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo and locally built DMS/ERP systems through their APIs or scheduled exports. For a pilot we usually start from an export so nothing touches production until it has proved itself.

Can the WhatsApp assistant work in Urdu and Roman Urdu?

Yes. Order-taking, price lists and scheme questions work in English, Urdu and Roman Urdu, with the answers grounded only in your price list and policies. It runs on the official WhatsApp Business Platform, with a human taking over whenever the assistant is unsure.

How long does a pilot take and what does it cost?

Four weeks from kick-off to a working system in production-shaped form. It is a fixed price, quoted after a 30-minute scoping call — one use case, your data, a measurable outcome agreed up front. Keep it, extend it, or walk away with the findings.

Who delivers it and where?

Our engineers in Karachi, led by Taha Rauf (PMP, CISSP), with a UK company for international contracting. We are registered with SECP, FBR and PSEB in Pakistan and have spoken on AI at the Pakistan Baking Summit twice.

Taha Rauf, Founder and CEO of 1 Sol UK
"Most AI projects don't fail at the demo — they fail at real data, real permissions and real accountability. We've shipped generative AI for a global UN agency and federal government programmes, and we bring that same discipline to a 12-person clinic's marketing. One team, both ends of the spectrum."Taha Rauf, PMP, CISSP — Founder & CEO, 1 Sol
